This policy governs every device entering Goldy Maintenance, published before intake rather than produced afterwards. It puts your rights and our obligations in writing, and states equally what we cannot guarantee. Unless the service page or your inspection report says otherwise, the terms below apply by default.
Intake and the job receipt
No device is accepted at Goldy Maintenance without a receipt carrying a unique job number and recording the model and serial number, the condition on arrival, the accessories handed over, and the fault in your own words. We ask for your passcode or unlock pattern because a completed repair cannot otherwise be verified. A device is released only to the receipt holder or the registered telephone number; where the receipt is lost, identification matching the job record is required.
Diagnosis and the inspection fee
Work begins with an inspection ending in a written report sent by +966501234500 or info@goldysoftactive.com, stating the probable fault, the parts required and their grade, labour and parts costed separately, and an estimated turnaround. That stage carries an inspection fee published on the service page in SAR, credited against the repair where you approve the work with us. The turnaround is an estimate rather than an undertaking, as it depends on parts supply and on what disassembly reveals.
Approval and revised costs
No repair work is carried out before your explicit approval of the report; telephone approval is recorded against the job. Should a cost the report did not anticipate emerge mid-job, work stops and the revised figure goes to you afresh. Approve it, or decline and collect the device as it stands, owing only the inspection fee and what you had already approved.
Hidden faults and liquid-damaged equipment
An inspection reveals what can be found without full disassembly, and opening a device can expose a fault not previously visible. Two cases warrant particular warning:
- Liquid-damaged equipment. Corrosion continues inside long after a device appears dry. It may work before disassembly and not afterwards, and a successful repair may fail weeks later. No outcome can be guaranteed, and we ask you to acknowledge that at intake.
- Equipment previously opened by a non-specialist. Stripped fasteners, torn ribbon connectors and poor soldering can make repair impossible, or push its cost above the device's worth.
Replacement parts and parts removed
We fit genuine components from a traceable source or high-quality alternatives, with every part's grade stated in the report before fitting and on the invoice afterwards. Parts removed remain your property and are handed over on request at collection, unless returned to a supplier under a warranty exchange identified on the invoice. Where a part must be ordered, we confirm the expected wait beforehand so you may wait or take the device back. Spare parts sold separately may be returned within fourteen days if the seal is intact.
Repair warranty: ninety days
The warranty covers the work performed and the component replaced for ninety days from the invoice date, extending neither to the device as a whole nor to unrelated faults.
| Covered | Not covered |
|---|---|
| Recurrence of the same repaired fault | A new fault in a different part of the device |
| A defect in the component we fitted | Drops, impact or liquid ingress after collection |
| Faulty fitting or soldering on our part | Misuse or an unsuitable power source |
| Re-inspection at no further fee | Software, updates and data loss |
The warranty lapses immediately if the security seal is broken or the device is opened elsewhere. Repair outside a manufacturer's own channels may also affect a factory warranty still in force, and we say so before intake.
Appointments, uncollected equipment and irreparable devices
Appointment terms apply by default unless stated otherwise: a reminder twenty-four hours ahead, free cancellation up to twelve hours before, and arrival more than fifteen minutes late may require a new slot. A device that cannot be repaired is returned as received with a written explanation, and only the inspection fee is charged. For completed work left uncollected we notify you on 009004 and +966501234500, then repeat the notice; thirty days after the first, a published daily storage charge in SAR may apply. Ninety days after that first notice, and after a final written notice to info@goldysoftactive.com, Goldy Maintenance may dispose of the device to recover sums owed, returning any surplus on request. These periods are defaults, may be varied by prior agreement, and no device is disposed of before the notices are exhausted.
